History of Cantabria: Wake statue of Salcedo

Detail of the "wake-statue" Salcedo, Valderredible recently discovered and now exhibited at the Museum of Prehistory and Archaeology of Cantabria.

The wake has an elongated trapezium tapering towards the top, terminating in arc. This "warrior" Schematic representations reminiscent also dating from the Bronze Age (4000 years ago) located particularly in the surroundings of Monte Hijedo, south of the Ebro reservoir.
 
In the center of the wake-statue is the base of a triangular knife with crescent-shaped handle, plus what appears to be a belt decorated with fringes.
