Sleipnir Armring
Sleipnir Armring
Our small Sleipnir, Odin's steed bracelet is an original design carved in the Ringerike Style that's inpired by Viking age artefacts made from lead free pewter in Scotland.
The twisted band tapers slightly from the centre, just like a number fround in the Viking period. It weighs a hefty 108g, measures 22.6cm around the band from head to head, and has a gap of 3.1cm between the noses.
Odin's steed bracelet is an original design carved in the Ringerike Style that is inspired by Viking age artefacts. Sleipnir is the eight-legged horse of the god Odin, and child of Loki.
While Loki’s other children were bound and banished to prevent them from wreaking havoc across the nine realms, Sleipnir became not only the steed of Odin, but also one of his most recognizable and trusted companions.
Odin rides Sleipnir on his frequent journeys throughout the Nine Worlds, accompanied by Hugin and Munin, and Geri and Freki.
This bracelet is designed to be worn loose and adjustable only once. Please bend with gentle and even pressure so that you can slide the bracelet onto your wrist.
Do not adjust further. Avoid wearing in showers and pools as chemicals and soaps can cause the metal to tarnish faster.
